What is “The Box” you say?
The Box is an instructional security bypass challenge.
The Box will contain various devices or controls that are used to secure physical spaces. Think dead bolts, motion detectors, camera’s etc. Most of these can be circumvented much easier than the average person may think. The Box will provide opportunities for you to test your knowledge of how to bypass these devices or imagine new creative ways to get around them. I’m trying to present the controls in an open and visible manner. I want the challenge to be educational and focused on how to bypass the item rather than a revolving test of trial and error.
Design and construction of version 1.0 is currently underway. Hoping to bring it to a con near you in the not so distant future.
